You can often recover a deleted email if you act within the available recovery period. Most email systems move deleted messages to a Trash or Deleted Items folder before they are permanently removed.
Step 1: Check the Trash or Deleted Items folder
Open your email and navigate to the Trash or Deleted Items folder. Look for the email you want to recover.
Step 2: Restore the email
Select the email and move it back to your inbox or another folder. This will restore it to your active mailbox.
Step 3: Check the archive or other folders
If the email is not in the Trash, check the archive, spam, or other folders where it might have been moved.
Step 4: Use recovery options
Some email systems allow recovery of deleted emails within a certain time frame. Look for a “Recover Deleted Items” option if available.
Step 5: Contact support if needed
If you are unable to recover the email, it may still be possible through backup systems or administrative recovery, depending on your setup.
