Setting up a new monitor is simple and only takes a few steps.
Step 1: Connect the power cable
Plug the monitor’s power cable into an electrical outlet and turn on the monitor.
Step 2: Connect the display cable
Use the appropriate cable (HDMI, DisplayPort, VGA, or USB-C) to connect the monitor to your computer. Make sure the cable is securely connected on both ends.
Step 3: Select the correct input source
Turn on the monitor and use its menu buttons to select the correct input source that matches the cable you are using.
Step 4: Adjust display settings
On your computer, go to display settings to detect the monitor. You can choose to extend or duplicate your screen and adjust the resolution for the best view.
Step 5: Confirm everything is working
Check that the display appears correctly and adjust brightness or positioning if needed.
