How do I access the Azure Virtual Desktop?

You can access Azure Virtual Desktop using a desktop app or a web browser. The process is simple and allows you to securely connect to your virtual workspace from different devices.

Using the Remote Desktop App (Windows / Mac)

1. Download and install the Microsoft Remote Desktop app.
2. Open the app after installation.
3. Go to Workspaces and click Add Feed.
4. Enter your email address or workspace URL and continue.
5. Sign in using your Microsoft 365 credentials.
6. Accept the prompt to use your account on the device if shown.
7. Select your organization and double-click the desktop or session host.
8. Enter your login credentials again if prompted.
9. Wait for the session to load and access your virtual desktop.

Using a Web Browser

1. Open the AVD web access link provided by your organization.
2. Sign in with your Microsoft 365 account.
3. Select the available desktop or application.
4. Click allow when prompted.
5. Enter your credentials again if required to launch the session.

The first login may take a few moments as your session is being prepared. Once connected, you will have access to your virtual desktop and applications in a secure cloud environment.
